U. S. local post cover
With #C54 & 1593. An interesting “Balloon Air Mail” from Virginia City to Silver Springs sent in 1981 on the first “First Balloon Race” with a 25¢ local post balloon stamp and a great cachet.
I have tried researching it but have so far come up empty. Perhaps you can do better.  A good potential. My Favorite Thing write-up.

Zeppelin cover mailed in 1930 to Harry Citret, a know cover maker and collector. Found this about him on a collector’s forum;
"Ralph Dyer’s FDC career was significantly influenced by Morris C. Rothblum and Harry Citret –all of them active in the Ridgefield Park NJ Stamp Club during the 1920s. With the emergence of the Fourth Bureau Regular Postage Issue of 1922-25, many members of the Stamp Club (particularly Harry Citret, then a lawyer for Bamberger’s Department Store in Newark, and later a philatelic dealer at 66 Park Place in Newark) were becoming interested in FDCs. Citret talked Dyer into adding printed Cachets to some of Citret’s uncacheted FDCs. When Dyer heard that Rothblum was also printing Cachets for his own FDC collection, Dyer and Rothblum began exchanging Cachet designs and supplying them to Citret and other members of the Ridgefield Park Stamp Club. Dyer and Rothblum continued to inspire each other throughout the 1930s as they both grew into talented and sophisticated Cachet-makers. Rothblum’s cachets are scarcer and less well known than Dyer’s because Rothblum produced cachets only as a sidelight, while Dyer became a driving force for Leo August’s WSE."

Swiss Reply Card with unused reply. Is that confusing? The card was sent to “The Library of Chemistry” at Northwest University in the hopes of selling them a subscription to “Le Journal de Chimie Physique”. Obviously, their hopes were dashed as the response card was never returned and a collector absconded with the card. Now, you can have it.

Victoria 3a, N/G, Forgery. This one was presented to me as apart of the King Farouk collection of stamps. A small amount of research shows this to be a forgery from a gentleman named George Kirke Jefferys. The key item to look for is the “83” on the queen’s dress. Its supposed to be a flower. Otherwise a nice stamp. BTW, Jefferys spent 6 months at hard labor for this one. I have the transcript of the trial, if you're interested.

graphite issues of 1957-59.
SCV $94.70.
In 1952 the first “Wilding” were issued using a photograph made by Dorothy Wilding. In 1957 graphite lines were placed on the back of the stamps to aid automatic orientation in conjunction with automatic cancelation. These are the only British stamps to use graphite lines. Two sets were created. The first in 1957 and is the smaller of the sets. This one is missing the 2 1/2 d and the second, issued in 1958, is complete. Vertical phosphorous bands were also used on most of them. The 4 1/2p in the second set appears to be one of them but was not counted as such.

SCV $325.00.
This one has 3 9/10s of a clear margin, torn off at the top and almost touching at the top right corner. Has a really “fat” bottom margin. The second stamp with 4 even margins come from a forgery site and is described as genuine. Several color varieties are mentioned in the Scott. I believe this one is genuine but am not an expert therefore offering at less than 5%. I have 6 pages of information on this series, write me if interested.
